Romantic Cello, which celebrates the 70th birthday of David Geringas, is a musical retrospective of the duo partnership of the legendary Russian cellist and his wife Tatjana Geringas on the piano. The two performed with great acclaim throughout the Soviet Union before emigrating to West Germany in 1975. The CD includes re-releases of works by Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, and Strauss.
