Houston Stackhouse was still a Country Blues musician even though he played in different Bluesbands with Sonny Boy Williams II. and Joe Willie Wilkins. He liked to play the songs of Tommy Johnson like Canned Heat Blues or Big Road Blues. On this CD he played some songs solo with his guitar – Also a song by Mager Johnson, Tommys brother, is here. On the second part of the CD he plays with bass and drums.
