Jeff Lake follows up with his own solo release -- 'Field of Grass'

The EP begins with a new song by Janis Ian, 'Better Times Will Come
a song written at the advent of covid. Lake puts his own upbeat spin on this while ornamenting it with fiddle, banjo, mandolin and upright bass. The same upbeat treatment is given to McCartney's 'I've Just Seen A Face'. The two covers set a fast-paced precedent which serve in contrast to Lake's own material which speak to themes of isolation and fatalism.

'Field of Grass' is explosive, melancholy, and hopeful - All wrapped into a 15 minute musical journey.
