Romance author Ethan Dulane's writer's block compromises his ninth novel's delivery deadline, so his agent books an inspirational holiday away from his Manhattan luxury apartment on a horse ranch upstate. It's quietly run by widower Frank McGregor, his daughters Hope and Joy, and their stable-hands, including one with a crush on one of the girls. While there, Dulane finds more than inspiration for his next novel.
