The band was formed back in 1986 and recorded a few tracks of 80's thrash metal. These songs were produced by Mark 'The Shark' Shelton, but never officially released. The band also opened for Manilla Road back in these days.
After many years, in 2013, Ripsaw (having also members of Born of Fire) reunited for a documentary that was presented at independent film festivals. After the documentary, they decided to record some new songs too. This material, along with the old songs, is featured in 'An Evening in Chaos'
